I made this key holder, made used of some of my 8x11CB cut them to my desire shapes.

This is a door hanger I made for Sai. I used CB again here and cut them with different design like the tree and the background.

Attempt on Digital Scrapbooking

I haven't touch my scraps for the past few months and they kinda collected dust definitely. Still this time they are untouch by my crafty hands instead tried to attempt into digital scrapping. Though I'm photoshop challenged still managed to finished at least 2 layouts last night.
And this is the fruit of my labor:
I scrapped the photo of my son and lola. I used a digi kit I got from Shabby Princess.

Another photo with my sisters. I'm very much pleased with the result.

My Altered Story Book

This is my DD's Barney Story Book. Shhh! She doesn't know about me altering her fave book!! hehe!!! I'll be using this for my Artz de Scrap project.

I tore the pages and did some horizontal cutting about 1/2 inch to make this:

This is the finished gate I made. First, I decoupaged the gate with a tissue and a PVC glue. After drying I paint it with a gold acrylic. Dried it again, then ink some brown inks.

I made a frame for my inner project:

The cover of my project. I think I made an album frame. hehehe!!!

Scrapinmoms Round 1

I made to the elimination round of Scrappinmoms Idol 3. I moved on to Round 1 and the challenge is PAPER PIECING this time. Looking at my photos available, I chose this photo of my brother-in-law (LEW) and my niece (GRACIE) as my subject. They look harmoniously sweet together as father and daughter. Love the color I've chosen which is red, black and white and a dash of green and brown.

Long Overdue Post

Yay!!! I've been MIA for I-don't-know-how-many-days. Hehehe!!! I've been very busy for the past days I guess. My sister whose base in SG visited us for a week and since she's here we went on malls almost everyday. Also my nieces have been baptized last Sunday. Now, I'm busy with my small business delivering scrapbook materials on a small school supply store.

MOJOLESS AND GOT HOOKED

...YEP!!! I think my mojo's wondering around somewhere and I don’t know when it will find its way back to me. Yay!!! Also got hooked on this guy and watching his character in koreanovela’s “Boys over Flowers” series. It’s kinda funny because I’m not a novela-addict-type-of-person in the first place.

I like his doofy smile. It kills me. Don't worry my husband knows about this. He only laughs at me and calling me autistic!!!Ayesh!!!
Love the novela so much and even though I'm finished watching it, I still get back on watching some of the episode that strikes me a lot. I also learned some Korean language from it.
I think that even though we are in the early 30's or older, we should watch something like this sometimes to stop the clock and from aging so fast and also bring back the teenage in us. Fancy those times when we have our first crushes, first love and first kiss!!! Ayesh!!!
Well, as for now, I think I have to go and check my mojo now if it'll come back.

Yes, I got 2 noticed from the POST OFFICE. We (my DD Rain) hurried at the PO to check it out. The one is a box of a pizza. The man in the PO was making fun of the parcel because he’s claiming that the box contain pizza and asking a slice or two. I chuckled and told that it contains scrapbook materials. The other is an A2 size.

Here are my stamps I’ve been waiting for. They are a total of 18 cutie stamps.

Sorry for posting it here kind a late because my hands kind a full before the month of May comes. My sister arrived from Singapore last April 29 to visit us and her favorite nieces. I joined the Ultimate Scrapper Challenge at SK started May 1-3. Finally, got to rest for a while for scrapping and update my blog.
These are my blessing for May:
1.Got my DT stints at Scrapbook Challenge. This is my first time on DT stints though I have a GDT last March at Creatively Yours. It was officially announced at Scrapbook Challenges last April 27th. They all greeted us (new DT) with a warm welcomed. DT is a different responsibility and work. I’m so happy that Pamela (owner) picked me to work with her. I know I can do it. I can…

Happy National Scrapbooking DAy!!!

Hello readers!!! It's 10pm here in Manila. How's your NSD in your place? Me, I was like a crazy cat since Friday.LOL!!

I joined the Ultimate Scrappers Challenge season 2 at Scrappinkids. I am sharing with you my work. All done under preassure and a little time. Speed is also a factor. It's like amazing race.

Day 1(May 1st at 10am)
Challenge #1- Create an lo using one pp and one cardstock only,all other stuff are ok as long as this is one is meet. Scrap about the essence of scrapbooking.

Challenge #2 - Make a black and white LO- use only black and white colors in your lo.
I was doing this LO around 10PM. Yes, You read it right. Did you know that we are awake till 2am? hahaha! For the love of scrap!!!

Challenge #3 -To do a STYLISH photo frame around your photo.No stickers and rubons are allowed,only one photo to be used.

Challenge #4 : Create 4 Atcs with same theme.
Here’s my Atc: Fall theme

(I did a clumsy mistake...With so much excitement, I did a card instead of an ATC. hahaha!)
Here's what I did at first. It's a mother's day card!!! What a shame! But I easily
changed my entry.

Day 3: The Final Round
Challenge is :
To do a mini album by applying all the other challenges that you had done earlier.
ie. challenge #1 - challenge #4.
Around 9am the final challenge was posted. Rush to my table coz I have to finish the project with meager time. I have to go to my mom’s house because my sister Cecil will go back to SG. She’s here the first day of SK ultimate challenges. That’s another reason why I have little time to scrap. Finished my mini album in just 1 ½ hour. Whew!!! I’m so exhausted but looking at my work, it pays a lot. I think I’ve done a great job with my mini even under pressure.
Here's my Final entry:

I had so much fun!!! It's my first time to join this kind of challenge.

The time pressure was the biggest obstacle.
Definitely a definite experience.
I'm not one who joins challenges with time limitations.

Stamp With Us Color Challenge

I'm really having fun playing at Stamp with us. This week's challenge is to use this picture as color inspiration. Well I couldn't resist - I used the picture for inspiration as is. It's perfect for a bday card.
So yummy!!!

Here's my take on the challenge:

I just used brown cardstock for the toppings, pp for the cupcake cup and crumpled it with a crumpling machine. Add some cut ribbons, blings and black stickles on the toppings and also add a freehand cut cherry. Voila!!!

Some Good News on Easter!!!

I haven't read my emails for 2 days. I'm so anxious to check it out but have no chance to open my PC. I have so many errand that has to done. And it's Easter Sunday, have to take my DD on an egg hunting party. Finally, got the chance tonight to open it ( Rain is asleep now) but my eyes are really tired maybe because of the season (sooo hot, feels like you want to take a bath every time). Anyways, my good news is I received an email from Dora, a coordinator of Scrapstreets.com(an online magazine) congratulating me that my LO "Because of You" ( I submitted last March) was picked up for PUBLICATION on their May issue!!! Yahoo!!! It's my first time to be published. It's an online magazine but it's a starter and a stepping stone for me (next time it should be in prints!!!) I wish!!!

Singapore Trip

I say, "KAYA"

During my early times in scrapping and really scarce of stamp on my supply, I usually used things that I see around. I always use natural materials that I see outside my house or in my garden.
In this LO I used leaves of my guava tree as my non-stop item. it really looks so natural...
Now, I'm collecting stamps that I love. I even have Magnolia stamps from UK (won over at blogcandies).

It's my second visit in Singapore but it feels like
it's my first. I am really mesmerized by
cleanliness, beauty and orderliness of the
country. It's truly an amazing Singapore Trip.

I finished 1 LO today!! I sore my back after doing this (plus a headache). Lots of details to arrange put 20 eyelets and also have some stitching. The hardest of all thinking of what would be title and some journaling. Whew!!
Finally I came up with this title:
"NURTURE"

Here's the details of the eyelets and stitching:

Free Spirit

I made this LO just to fill up my empty hours. I was alone in the house for 3 hours after I send Rain to school. The timeis 2Pm. It's it's so hot!!! Summer is here.
I like the color combinations of this LO. More of the brown and bluw.

I print my title in script and then cut it.
The girl image on the right was a hand stamp Tilda I recieved from a blogcandy.

Wikipedia definition:
An oxymoron (plural oxymorons or, more rarely, oxymora) is a figure of speech that combines two normally contradictory terms.
I research some example at Yahoo and I chance many words. I chose
" Alone Together" as my title.
I doodle the borders as you can see and also the title. I used permanent colored pens.

THEY WILL GO TO CANADA!!!

Yep!! You read it right. This cards will go to CANADA!! They are for the homeless soul/elderly (to cheer them up or to motivate them). I'm sending them to Dorothy ( a kind hearted blogger) I met.
