These came from sweet Abby!!! Thank you so much Abby!!!
Try and try until you perfected it!! I love making cards. And finishing a few makes me feel happy! Sometimes I don't like what it looks like after I finished it but many times I'm really happy with the result. Here's my take on Cuttlebug Challenge #22.
I finished 1 LO today!! I sore my back after doing this (plus a headache). Lots of details to arrange put 20 eyelets and also have some stitching. The hardest of all thinking of what would be title and some journaling. Whew!! Finally I came up with this title: "NURTURE"
Here's the details of the eyelets and stitching:
Journaling: The heart knows no greater joy than to give and to receive the gift of LOVE.
Materials: K and CO(amy butler designs), Daisy D's, Making memories (ledger book), AAS swirl CB, Pink paislee ( fashion script) brads and eyelets, ribbons, blue yarn Digital elements: Lucida Font for my journaling (printed on vellum) Ornaments and Quote sign ( from digital Scrapbook freebies
My entry this time on Tag Your It! The theme is Wings. I printed the spring princess and put stickles on her wings. SPRING PRINCESS: Created with distress inks and corrugated board, metal flower, prima and ribbons.
I visit DreamGirls blog and they have a new challenge!! Make a LO inspired by an Ad. Twists: 1.We would love to see a safety pin somewhere on your layout 2. Use some thing out of the scrap aisle totally up to you (ex. masking tape, office stamp, elastic, etc) Here's the Ad:
Here's my LO:
I used Columnar sheet for secong matting. Also used corrugated board for my title. Nice huh?!
I made this LO just to fill up my empty hours. I was alone in the house for 3 hours after I send Rain to school. The timeis 2Pm. It's it's so hot!!! Summer is here. I like the color combinations of this LO. More of the brown and bluw.
I print my title in script and then cut it. The girl image on the right was a hand stamp Tilda I recieved from a blogcandy. Title: Free Spirit Journaling: You are such a free Spirit. Have fun in all you do. Materials: Scenic route, Daisy D's and Bazil Basics(brown)
Wikipedia definition: An oxymoron (plural oxymorons or, more rarely, oxymora) is a figure of speech that combines two normally contradictory terms. I research some example at Yahoo and I chance many words. I chose " Alone Together" as my title. I doodle the borders as you can see and also the title. I used permanent colored pens.
Journaling: As usual because is always out for work. We are having fun watching soap opera's on TV. We love each other's company and being alone together.
Yep!! You read it right. This cards will go to CANADA!! They are for the homeless soul/elderly (to cheer them up or to motivate them). I'm sending them to Dorothy ( a kind hearted blogger) I met. The cards are for the Spread a Smile Campaign. I made a few for now but And i'm so excited to send them to her. I still make a few cards on my spare time and send them again. If you are interested to send some care, visit Dorothy's blog here.
I did try out on every GDT/DT calls for card making but not lucky enough to be chosen. I tried at High Hopes even though I scarce on stamps. (So brave am I?) Their benefits are so drooling enough for you to apply and wanting to be part of the team. Imagine they will give you 10 stamps of your choice and also they will send you some new release stamp on your term. Anyways, even though I’m not picked, I am happy to create this card to call my own. I admit their cards are just gorgeous!!Hehehe!! Here's my card:
