This week's twist is all about color. For each color you use the next time you use that color it must be from a different company. So if you are using blue pattern paper, the next thing in blue must be something else besides pattern paper. Like ribbon, flower etc.

Here's my entry on Scrap Scheme #12 challenge:
I was inspired by the bold colors of red,orange, black and white. I also used the black flowers as an accent.
This picture was taken in SG. She was age 6 at the moment. Can't think of a Title and I found this big 6 with a flower accent on it and decided to used it for my title.

"Safety Pins and Beads Jewelry"

I received my free beads kit yesterday from Artzdescrap. Off I go to my working table and started my craft. First I thought of making a simple necklace but then I realized that I have so many safety pins stored in my sewing stuff so I incorporate them to my beads jewelry. I made 2 rings for my daughter and 1 bracelet. She loves to wear jewelry and sometimes borrow my stuffs. She was so happy that the jewelry that I'm making was for hers.

I used handmade embellishment in this LO. I crochet a big flower and also crochet brown yarn as my border on the title.

Artzdescrap I Heart YOu!!!

Artzdescrap is 1 year now!
I discovered this blog from a friend last year and since then I’ve been visiting Artzdescrap more often.
For me, Artzdescrap is a useful blog among us crafters/scrappers. I learned a lot from this blog from altering tissue boxes and my favourite the altered clock which I made a lot last December for Xmas gifts (economical but gorgeous!) Also what I love about this blog is they give alterable projects amazingly for free so you don’t have to worry about the things you have to use.
And truly, they inspire me to create beautiful crafts out of things that to others are less valued. Artzdescrap brings out the creative in me and encourage us to create, create and create more...

Review of 2008

My take on Journalingjunkie challenge 48.
The challenge is to document your celebration of New Year's, or your resolutions or a review of 2008.


Review of 2008
1. April: We spent 1 month vacation in Singapore.
2. May: We moved to our new bigger house.
3. July: Rain was accelerated from Kinder 1 to Kinder 2.
4. August: My father turned 60 this year and Rain turned 5.
6. September: My sister-in-law gave birth to a twin.

Got Mojo?

I got mojos coming in. When I started scrapping, I scrap all the way...
I finish 2 LO's again. This one is for Got Mojo Challenge challenge 28.
You have to finish a LO about traditions you do in the coming of the year.
Ours is just celebrating the festive together. I cooked several dishes. Eat at the struck of midnight and gaze upon the fireworks in the sky together.

Hataw na for 2009! My first Lo for the year. My Kaya LO enrty!
"PAMANA NI LOLA"



Journaling Reads: Our Lola gave us these twin wooden statue last 4 years ago. She told us that she brought them in Bicol from a souvinir shop when she was in her early age. Our Lola is still with us and she's 94 years old now and most probably tehse statue were 60 older. We promise to keep and take good care of them because they are PAMANA ni Lola.
Materials used:pp- BasicGrey (boxer), Fancy Pants(ornamental), Cosmo Cricket ( slue foot sue) , CS- DCWV green, Hero Arts stamps, metal flower, foam tape, glue
